Dr. Glenda Akiens is a renowned Apostle to the nations, serving alongside her husband as Apostolic Covering for ministries around the world. Their ministry is marked by the office of Prophet, with a focus on teaching and preaching the uncompromising Word of God, accompanied by miracles, signs, and wonders. God's call on their lives is clearly evident as they mentor parents and counselors to other ministries, founded the Restoration Apostolic Prayer Line, and serve as Chaplains in Germantown, Tennessee, and International Intercessors for Full Gospel. Dr. Akiens is also the President of Restoration Counseling and the founder of "Let's Talk, Real Talk, Girl Talk / Let's Talk Real Talk," as well as the CEO of the Joshua Emmanuel Foundation.
With an educational background from various institutions, including the International College of Ministry, Calvary Bible Institute, and Sarasota Academy of Christian Counseling, Dr. Akiens has a Ph.D. in Philosophy in Christian Psychology. Their ministry reaches people of all ages and from various walks of life, with a focus on positively influencing the lives of God's people through the application of the Word of Truth. As the anointed parents of six children and nine grandchildren, they possess a unique ability to connect with people and have been involved in prison ministry, sick and shut-in ministry, homeless ministry, counseling, and deliverance ministry.
Dr. Akiens' ministry continues to impact thousands of lives as they walk in their divine purpose and calling as Apostles, ministering the total ministry of the Kingdom of God. Their aim is to empower the Body of Christ to reach and experience their God-given rights as sons and daughters of the Most High God. They both operate under the mantle of Elijah, and their ability to translate hard-hitting spiritual insights into everyday language has empowered individuals to transform their lives and walk out their destinies.
